Regional career guide—not a live vacancy inventory. OilfieldPeople begins with Indonesia and plans coverage of other Southeast Asian oil and gas markets and Papua New Guinea. We will only show a job as active when an employer-authorized application destination and current status can be verified.
Country coverage roadmap
| Country | Career themes to research | Publishing rule |
|---|---|---|
| Indonesia | Migas, drilling, HSE, oilfield services, operations, engineering, procurement, offshore support | Primary launch; official-source openings first |
| Malaysia | Offshore operations, engineering services, maintenance and supply chain | Require employer-sourced vacancies; Malaysia-specific work requirements |
| Singapore | Regional engineering, offshore support, marine services, project procurement | Distinguish office, marine and offshore job conditions |
| Vietnam | Offshore engineering, facilities operations and service contractors | Verify local hiring entity and permitted application route |
| Thailand | Offshore and onshore engineering, HSE, maintenance and operations | Do not assume cross-border eligibility |
| Brunei Darussalam | Energy operations, field services and technical support | Follow local eligibility and national hiring policies |
| Papua New Guinea | LNG, construction, drilling, operations, logistics and technical services | Asia-Pacific section; separate from ASEAN and country-specific checks |
Before applying across borders
Research the hiring entity, place of work, official recruitment method, relevant immigration or work-permit process, professional recognition, employer-specified medical or training requirements and the exact contract terms. A training course valid for one asset or region may not satisfy another. A job portal cannot determine your immigration eligibility or guarantee overseas placement.
How verified regional vacancies will work
A vacancy must have an identifiable source and official application link, posting date, work location, employment type, source-check date and a recheck schedule. Employer authorization and local rules affect whether it can be re-published with JobPosting structured data. Closed, filled and unsupported jobs will not remain as active opportunities.
